I just cried because I'm so happy to be home for the holidays. The idea of decorating a Christmas tree got the best of me.
More on this later.

...Alpha...
Okay! So! Here we go! New blogging project! Woo!!
For those who may have stumbled across this, you should know two things.
1) My nickname ((among many nicknames)) is B-dawg! hence the title!! I'm so cool and creative!!!....
2) I AM ON VACATION!!!!!!!......
....for two months.
Two. Whole. Months in between contracts.
without employment (as of now), without a car, without outside invigoration. I'm going nuts and my facebook ((or stalkerfacesite, as i like to call it)) statuses are suffering my abuse. So I decided to endeavor a blog that will hopefully be interesting, maybe even amusing, possibly even educating, to others. You're welcome.
I'm hoping to post random insights, my travel experiences, my career life ((you'll see ;) )), recommendations ((probably a lot of anime and vlogs and webcomics and books and....)) and who knows what else. I just think it will be nice to have a daily project. Stick around. Who knows what this will become.
Right. So here we go.
Today's B-dawg Blurg
MY (({{animation}}art)) IDOLS!!
GLEN KEANE- Creator and animator of Ariel ((amongst many other Disney characters. but in my world, ariel is the one who matters ;) ))
STEVE THOMPSON - Disney Store Head Designer. The man behind the Disney Designer Collections. Gay. Gorgeous. *melts* ((but married. damn...))
NAOKO TAKEUCHI - Creator of Pretty Soldier Sailormoon. *bows in abject and utter supplication*
DAXIONG - Fantastic artist I met at Baltimore Comic Con this past summer.
CHARLES SANTORE - Amazing painter. The man behind what is considered to be the quintessential Wizard of Oz illustrated edition. Has a kick@$$ Little Mermaid publication as well. Practically lives right next door to me in PA. Probably the only one in this list who isn't, to my knowledge, a comic book artist/animator. Should probably be at the top of this list, but this was a stream-of-consciousness effort :)
MICHAEL TURNER - Creator of the Soulfire series, a fantasy comic about magic rising again in a dystopian era on Earth. Co-creator of Witchblade. Sadly deceased :'(
MARC SILVESTRI - PRRREEETTTTTYYYYY much everything I want to be. Superb artist. CEO of Top Cow Productions ((one of my favorite publishing companies. shout out to zenescope!! hollerrrrrr)). And gorgeous ((imo ;) )). Sadly, straight. And married. Should probably be second on this list :D
MIKE CHOI - One of my favorite artists of Witchblade and Thor
GREG HORN - Comic artist extraordinaire! Met him at Comic Con as well.
WALTER E. DISNEY - Don't care what people say, I have always been a Disney fan and probably always will be. Yes, everything is sugarcoated and musical and colorful and dumbed down. Yes, he hated children and Jews and likely Jewish children. But you know what?? He has a massive legacy that no one can sneeze at. I know that I certainly don't have any theme parks boasting castles occasionally decorated as cake ((check out the disney world 25th anniversary decorations y'all)).
DRACHEA RANNAK - Artist I found on deviantArt back in the day. His fan renderings of the Sailor Senshi are spot on drop dead gorgeous. Support fan art, people. Support.
MARCO ALBIERO - *points to above* ((swap dA with "random web searching"))
SAMI BASRI - Witchblade artist whose art is a marriage of western and anime styles. at least IMO.
JOHN TYLER CHRISTOPHER - brilliant comic artist. the end.
KENNETH ROCAFORT - another brilliant comic artist ((surprised??)). His work on Madame Mirage floors me ((as does that whole comic series))
just to name a few :o)
On that note, I am off! Peace!
